Jean-Paul Carbone nasceu em 14 de outubro de 1988 em Marselha às 7:47 PM.
Ele é o segundo dos três filhos de Jean-Paul Sr e Esther Charlotte, sendo o único que seguiu o legado do pai, mesmo que não por vontade própria. Formado em Engenharia Química e naturalmente apaixonado por flores, Carbone sempre foi uma criança curiosa que sabia muito bem como usar a situação ao seu favor. A convivência com seu pai despertou nele uma curiosidade precoce por assuntos inapropriados para a sua idade, o obrigando a amadurecer mais rápido.
Jean-Paul estudava por conta prórpia desde cedo, mais tarde se aprofundando no tópico de linguagem corporal, o que mais tarde lhe garantiu mais facilidade para trabalhar com os negócios da família. A morte de seu pai lhe garantiu o título de O Imperador de Marselha, líder do Le Milieu, a organização criminosa que trabalha dentro da França desde muito tempo, usando o Vieux Port, o segundo maior porto comercial da França, como porta de entrada e saída para a organização, que age na tríade de Paris, Lyon e Marselha.
A floricultura que possui é uma fachada para o que realmente está por trás das suas flores, tendo a rosa vermelha como símbolo do Imperador e um aviso de que ele está por vir. Especialista em armas químicas e brancas, conseguiu treinamento para manejar muito bem armas de fogo através de contatos internos dentro da DSGE, a divisão de serviço secreto da França.
É fluente em Italiano, Inglês e Espanhol, assumindo algumas identidades além de Jean-Paul dentro do regime que trabalha, permanecendo camuflado para os de fora e preservando suas relações pessoais.

Primarily, organized crime in France is based in its urban, major cities such as Marseille, Grenoble, Paris, and Lyon. Organized criminals are collectively known as the French Mob and singularly known as les beaux voyous (French: [le bo vwaju]; i.e. "the goodfellas") operating within Le Milieu (French: [lə miljø]; i.e. "the underworld") also called today Grand banditisme.
From the 1900s to the late 1930s, activities within Le Milieu were primarily prostitution, bookmaking, fencing, and hijacking. Favored criminal activity in France turned to bank robbery, drug trafficking, and smuggling from 1940 to the late 1970s. The 1980s saw a resurgence of large-scale bank robberies and heists. From 1990 to 2000, criminal organizations established complex extortion rings in Marseille extending to Aix-en-Provence and the greater French Riviera. Since 2002, Le Milieu is known for, in addition to its extortion rings, large counterfeiting and white-collar crime operations. Due to increased financial regulation, Le Milieu has collectively pushed to integrate their crime profits into the legal economy.
Organization
Due to the early historical connection the Corsican mafia shares with the Sicilian one, the modern structure of most French mobs typically break down into crime families with a strict hierarchy. Usually the goodfellas that carry out "orders" are known as une équipe multi-qualifiée (i.e. a multi-skilled team) composed of les beaux voyous (i.e. "the good fellows"). Most of these groups of members maintain and protect "mouvances" (i.e. territory). Members of the French Mob are highly professional as compared to lower-level crime groups in that they usually split their work by specialty (e.g. some members serve as the "brain", while others the "muscle" and/or "specialist".
